  • Skin Consultation and Skin Analysis

    I think you need to book in for a Skin Consultation with me where my wealth of knowledge can help you to understand your skin better and how we can help it. 
    Also I will do a Skin Analysis where I use a device to take a deeper look at what's going on under your skin, something we can't see with the naked eye. You will have a cleanse of the skin prior to the analysis and then I will send you pictures showing you exactly what's going on and my recommendations for a treatment plan moving forward with either skincare, treatments in salon or both. Of course however, these are entirely up to yourself and no obligation to move forward.

    I will use a microneedling pen as this is much better for the skin instead of a roller

    After a thorough consultation, your skin will be thoroughly cleansed, a gentle exfoliating gel will be used then a neutralising foam helping to restore the PH balance on your skin. Numbing cream can be applied.

    This treatment isn’t painful as such, you may feel a slight discomfort however the numbing cream will help with this

    Will you bleed? There may be some light blood spotting in some parts however you will not see this and all will be cleansed prior to you leaving

    I will then micro-needle your skin using a high quality serum (chosen at consultation to customise with your skin)

    Often HA from moisturisers can sit on the skin and not really penetrate the skin to do it’s thing, but this is where micro-needling is different and has optimum results. Tests show that HA being needled into the skin and left for only 10 seconds, increases the product’s absorption into the skin by a 10,000 fold increase

    Before micro-needling, I will do a skin analysis using a device to have a better understanding what's happening beneath your skin. 

    Straight after micro-needling, your skin will be red, which is totally normal and shows that your skin has reacted to skin needling. HYPO21 is then used to help speed up the healing process. Then LED to help repair and rejuvenate your skin, this is an important step with micro-needling to help heal the skins barrier.
    A cooling mask will be applied and icy globes used to help calm your skin then a repair cream is added at the end.

    You will receive a repair cream to take home to put on your skin the next day along with detailed instructions on how to care for your skin afterwards  

    There is no downtime. Some skins can experience redness which usually subsides after a few hours

    This is a highly results driven treatment. The increase in collagen induction begins within 48 hours of treatment. However it usually takes at least 4 weeks for superior results to be seen

    The results will continue to improve for 3-12 months after the treatments as a whole new collagen matrix is formed within the skin

    New collagen laid down should last for a period of 5-7 years making micro needling a very long lasting treatment 

    The collagen induction will usually result in a decreased appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and an increase in the firmness of the skin

    Depending on what is being treated, there should also be a reduction in visible scar tissue, reduced signs of UV damage, tightening of the skin, reduced hyper-pigmentation, less rosacea, thickening of the skin, reduced skin laxity, increase in scalp hair
